  • Fixed: Using a long attack (bow, spear, halberd) on no one caused the game to break.
  • Fixed: The bow's long attack's direction menu's red highlights showed a range of 1 (should be 10).
  • All weapon attacks (e.g. bow's long attack) are ordered above unarmed attacks (e.g. punch) in the abilities menu. (Before, the bow's long attack would appear below punch, which was unintuitive.)

By the way, I started working on version 0.2.x. My plans are to:

  • Add more dungeon encounters (monsters, rooms, etc.)
  • Add character stories and h scenes for Torne and Viola
  • Remove Paila's bad endings (abandoned/dead). I don't think the bad endings are interesting (compare with Disco Elyisum's "bad" branches, which are very interesting, e.g. Cuno joining the party). Also, I think Paila being abandoned/dead would have a significant impact on Ayumu's psyche, and I don't want to consider that impact when writing the other character stories.
  • Remove game overs. Instead, on death, let Ayumu go back to town (perhaps without his items/gold) an let him keep his character stories progress. Hades is like this. The problem with the game right now is that you have to choose between (1) going deep into the dungeon and (2) playing it safe so you don't lose character stories progress, which puts the roguelike and dating sim aspects at odds with each other.
  • Add ui/ux improvements (datetime / location widget, save slots, hotkeys for special attacks)
  • Do a first pass at sound effects
  • Hopefully add portraits for Pila, Chii, and some new characters!
