I released 0.5.x; here are the changes:

Re: story

• Scenes which were written w/ the assumption that you are alone (e.g. Paila's scenes, Viola's scenes, Torne's scenes, Nanako's pub scene, Yuu's scenes) just happen when you're alone.
• Paila has a dagger.
• Paila attacks/is attacked in the dungeon.
• You can't get the moon herb without Paila.
• Fix: Pila's portrait is shown in the conversation where Paila comes home. (Before, just Paila's portrait was shown.)
• Fix: Selecting "Yes, thanks for the help" in the conversation which happens when you exit the dungeon has you exit the dungeon. (Before, it didn't.)

Re: gameplay

• Added shoals levels and forest levels, which have their own dungeon generation processes.
  
• Changed which rooms/monsters spawn on which levels (for flavor and balance reasons).
• Most companions keep given items.
• Added an "exit the dungeon" ability.
• Added new items: potion of recharging, ring of recharging, scroll of enchant weapon (recharging), scroll of enchant armor (recharging).
• The starter weapon and starter armor vaults just spawn on Dungeon B1 on Day 0.
• Reduced the amount of plants in fire trap rooms.
• Removed the evasion bonus from the rat/bat.
• Non-underwater monsters can attack underwater monsters and vice versa.
• Items don't spawn on water.
• Fire drakes avoid water.
• Crabs don't avoid water.
• Fix: Monsters can't start the halberd's slow spin attack while underwater.
• Fix: Monsters can't chat underwater.
• Fix: The startup status is removed when the monster falls.
• Fix: If Hilde isn't there, it's still possible to check into the inn.

Re: ui/ux

• All character portraits, character sprites, and h scenes are animated!
• Paila, Viola, Torne, Nanako, and Yuu have nude portraits.
• Portraits/CGs fade in/out.
• Found a musician! The game has an all-new soundtrack with 11 songs.
• Music fades out.
• Keys stack (like potions).
